The Joy of Being- Yoga

Strength / Mobility and Fun Sprinkled In

Is it time to listen to your body and I mean really listen? These yoga classes are designed to challenge you in a way you have not before. This is a reminder for you to choose what works for your body. Letting go of the ego and really listening to what are body is asking for.

Individual or Group Sessions 60 - 90 minutes

  • Meditation to begin to arrive in the space and set the theme of our practice

  • Chanting to unite our voices with an instrument of Charity’s choice

  • Specifically designed yoga sequences with Indian martial art (Kalari) woven in to assist you and your body to have greater awareness of what is required

  • Curated music playlist to guide you through your yoga practice

  • Moments of silliness and fun to remember that life is beautiful in this body

Every body moves and learns differently, that is why when I teach these yoga classes everyone has a choice to do what works for them. This is a time where you can go as deep as you want, whether that means spiritually, physically and energetically. Be prepared to have fun and get strong at the same time. I guarantee there will be a smile or two during our time together. As well as some strength found.

  • Calling in the Directions and Elementals to provide the highest vibration

  • Freestyle Dancing

  • Verbal Facilitation while you move and groove

Kalaripayattu - Ancient Indian Martial Art

Are you ready to try something different?  Kalaripayattu is said to be the oldest martial art in existence, dating back 12,000 years old.  Be ready to explore full body warm-ups, animal movements / stances, basic self defense, and salutation forms with Charity Joy.  This unique class is designed to increase one’s flexibility and agility, strengthening the muscles and tendons by exercising the body. Be prepared to engage in a practice that will challenge your body and at the same time discover the joy of moving in such a way like the ancient warriors.

Drop your barriers, make some noise, move, crawl, and release what is not working for you in this reality. Inviting all who are ready to live their life without self-judgments and enjoy the beauty that life is. Celebrate your Soul Tribe and have some Fun.
